Friendship Hall is our 28' by 60' clubhouse. Equipped with a full kitchen, outside restrooms, a flat screen television and sound system, this is our main meeting room.
We hold our semi-monthly Breakfasts (during the season) and monthly Burger Bash fundraisers here, as well as parties and potlucks. It also hosts a lot of our other events, like Yoga, Line Dancing and Indoor Walking.
When available, members are able to rent Friendship Hall for $100 for eight (8) hours. Additional hours are available for an additional fee.
Murphy Hall is our slightly smaller game room. Instead of a kitchen, it has a pool table. It also houses our Puzzle and Book Library.
We hold our smaller activities and those where a kitchen is not needed here. Group sewing, games days, meetings and we use Murphy Hall as an overflow room for our larger events.
When available, members are able to rent Murphy Hall for $50 for eight (8) hours. Additional hours are available for an additional fee.
RULES FOR RENTAL OF FPCC OWNED BUILDINGS
Neither building may be rented to anyone who is not a member of the Club.
A Building Rental Agreement MUST be signed by the Club member who is renting the building(s) at least five (5) days prior to the date of the function for which the building will be rented. The rental fee must be paid at the time the rental agreement is signed.
In accordance with the Bylaws of the Club, it is the duty of the Vice President or Board Designee to “secure a clubhouse rental agreement including the collection of necessary rental fees which the Treasurer shall deposit.” Therefore, anyone wishing to rent the building(s) must contact the Vice President or Board Designee. No one else is authorized to issue a rental agreement or accept money for rental of the facility except in the event that the Vice President or Board Designee is unable, due to travel, illness, or any other reason, to perform this duty during the time that (s)he will not be available.
The cost to rent the building(s) shall be established by the Board of Directors of the Club and may change from time to time.
Use of the pool is not included in the rental agreement and people attending the function for which the building has been rented may not use the pool during that function.
No function requiring a rental agreement will be conducted unless a rental agreement has been completed, signed and dated and the rental fee paid.
Rental of the Club building(s) is primarily for the use of Club members for private parties or celebrations: i.e. birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, reunions, etc. Requests to rent for other purposes must be approved by the Vice President or Board Designee or may be referred to the Board of Directors prior to acceptance of the rental agreement.
Members wishing to use the building(s) for a regularly scheduled activity throughout the winter season must sign a building rental or use agreement. The agreement must be presented to the Board for approval.
The building(s) must be cleaned and restored to its/their condition prior to the event. This must be accomplished within the rental time shown in the rental agreement: i.e., immediately after an event, not on the following day.
