POOL USE RULES AND INFORMATION
The pool is for the use of members and their guests only. The Club recognizes that members will enjoy the pool in different ways. Please be considerate of others. If there is a conflict, the participants must be able to reach an agreement. If the participants are unable to do so, the issue can be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors for resolution. Any violation of posted rules may be cause for dismissal from the Club.
Pool Schedule. There will be maintenance issues throughout the year that may require closure of the pool. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these closures. Also, please honor these days and times for each particular activity:
Water Aerobics: 5:30 am, “Polar Bears”; 7 am, “Quiet Class”; and 8 am. Classes are 40 minutes, Monday through Saturday
Lap Swim: 9 am to 11 am every day
Open Swim: 11 am to 9 pm every day, midnight when weather allows
Members are required to sign in, using the login sheet inside the front gate, each time they enter the gate to use
the pool. Date, time, first and last name, key card number, number of members, number of guests and their names. This will allow the Board of Directors to track usage of the Club’s pool.
Members are welcome to bring guests following these guidelines: You may bring a neighbor or friend as a guest no more than three times in one year. Your guest may then apply for membership to the Club. When your guest is your visiting family you may bring them on a short-term basis. You may not give your key card to anyone to use to access the Club. You must accompany your guests at all times.
Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests while they are on Club property and agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Club, its officers and directors from any claim or demand, including attorney’s fees arising out of member’s or guest’s breach of this agreement.
Minor guests and members under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times by the adult host member. Parents will bear the financial responsibility of cleanup of the pool whose children accidentally defecate or throw up in the pool. This would include draining the pool in accordance with the Health Code of Arizona Dept. of Health. This financial responsibility would also apply to adult members and their adult guests. Do not enter the pool with a cold, skin or body infection, open wound, diarrhea or any other contagious condition. If incontinent, wear tight fitting rubber or plastic pants or a swim diaper.
It is required that you use the shower to rinse, as much as possible, any lotions or body oils before entering the pool. Also, suntan lotions or oils (even water-based) of any kind are not allowed in the pool. These items damage the pool filter equipment. It is recommended you rinse after being in the pool as there are chemicals produced from the salt cell system. Again, the Club shower is for rinsing only, soaps and shampoos are not allowed to bathe or shampoo your hair. If you leave the pool to sunbathe and apply sunscreen or lotion you must use the shower to rinse before returning to the pool.
No glass containers are allowed on the patio or the pool deck. Snacks and/or beverages are allowed in unbreakable containers on the patio and at the tables around the pool, never in the pool. No inflatable tubes or toys are allowed in the pool if it is disturbing to others who are in the pool.
There is no lifeguard. Pool use is at your own risk. Running, jumping, or diving into the pool is never permitted. Please be considerate of others.
